Charlie Conder
With over 26 years of experience in education and ministry, Charlie Conder has dedicated her career to creating spaces where students experience unconditional belonging. She has served in the North Georgia Conference of the United Methodist Church since 2005, leading thriving student ministries and on-campus programs that amplify students’ voices in their churches and communities.A former Deaf and Hard of Hearing educator and ASL professor, Charlie brings a unique perspective to ministry, blending inclusivity with strategic leadership. As a certified coach and consultant, she spent nine years with The Rethink Group (Orange), equipping leaders to build sustainable, legacy-driven ministries. Her expertise helps churches move beyond short-term programming to create lasting impact in the lives of students and families.

Brittany Bethel, EdD
Brittany began her journey in Student Ministry in 2003 and has since served with several remarkable churches and teams, all united by the goal of helping students encounter the love of Jesus.
She currently serves as Executive Director of Cross Connection, where she has been involved since 2004 and joined the administrative staff in 2012. She first served as the Overseas Administrator, supporting churches seeking to experience God through international service, and stepped into the Executive Director role in 2017.
A native of Texas, Brittany holds a BA in Music, an MA in Worship Theology, and an EdD in Organizational Leadership. In addition to her work with Cross Connection, she is a Senior Consultant with PMA Nonprofit Leadership in Charlotte.
Brittany and her wife, Taylor, live in Charlotte, NC. Her deep experience in both the nonprofit and church worlds has shaped her passion for building organizations that reflect inclusive leadership—ensuring everyone has a place at the table.

Jess Berryhill
Jess is the Student and Disability Minister at Mt. Pleasant Church and the Executive Director of Terre Haute Friendship House in Terre Haute, IN. She has lead the student ministry there for 15 years and the disability ministry for 10 years. Through those two ministries, Jess lives at the intersection of Student and Disability Ministry and brings a unique perspective of how to create belonging for those with disabilities within and beyond your church. Jess lives alongside individuals with disabilities as the house mom at Terre Haute Friendship House. She enjoys spending time with her dog, Cooper and building LEGOs.
